Suzuki Bandit 1200s & Mini-bandit

God knows I love Japan...

I speak japanese, I use that language very often for my work, for reading serious books or stupid mangas...I went several times to Japan, I eat every week japanese food. However, there is a thing I can't stand about Japan : the bikes...If you are, like me, a fan of American bikes (including Harleys and all kind of choppers) you just can't be in love with japanese bikes like Suzuki or Kawazaki...So when a friend I met on the French Internet forum The lounge of Kherberos & Hanzoh asked me if I could draw a "mini pin-up" with a Suzuki Bandit 1200s, I was far from being delighted. Needless to say that I had absolutly no idea what that bike could look like...However I really liked that name "Bandit", it reminded me of that stupid movie released in DVD, The Bikini Bandits, the story of sexy vixens riding big bikes. I then decided to forget about my retro pin-ups with their Betty Page fringe and to try something a little bit more sexy and modern. No more flower-pattern backgrounds, no more old-school swimsuits, no more flames on the bike's body...Welcome to the new millenium!

Even if I'm not a big fan of the bike for personnal reasons, I must admit that, after all, that "mini bandit" is one of my favorite in the "mini pin-up" series.
