Supernatural - In the Beginning

Sam and Dean Winchester, the two brothers from the TV show Supernatural (CW)

I conceived this illustration as a photo from the Winchesters' family album. Here are the boys in 1987-1988 on the hood of what is described in the series as the "most important object of the Universe", their dad's beautiful 1967 Chevy Impala. I wanted to draw a fan arts of the boys' childhood for a long time and the Season 5 finale, Swan Song was just the inspiration I needed because it is full of references to Sam & Dean's younger years. I also wanted something less dramatic and dark than one of my previous fan arts called "Don't turn around Sammy, Don't turn around". Even the Winchesters had happy moments in their childhood, I guess.

"In the beginning" is a reference to Supernatural Season 4, Ep3, which is also called "In the beginning".
