The Watchmen - The Silk Spectre

Malin Akerman aka The Silk Specter from Zack Snyder's movie The Watchmen.

Laurie Jupiter, the second Silk Spectre, is the daughter of Sally Jupiter, the first Silk Spectre, founding member of The Minutemen. I really loved the character because of her mysterious side but also because of that costume even if I must admit I prefer, by far, The Comedian. Ah...that vinyl jumpsuit...Don't tell me you didn't noticed it. You've really got to be called Malin Akerman to wear that kind of stuff because I just can't even imagine the result with an actress that would be just 10 pounds heavier or more "curvy" like Scarlett Johansson (guess we'll have an answer to that one soon as she will be playing the Black Widow in the next Ironman)

I drew that fan art ages ago, when the movie was first released but I've never had the occasion to upload it. I must admit that if I had done this drawing today, it would have been 100% digital because first, I since got Painter and Painter Shop Pro but also because I think I could have had more fun with the light effects on the costume and the textures. Maybe one day I will start everything from scratch. Maybe.
